Time2Train

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 24 July 2026 · Time2Train ("T2T").

The short version: we collect no phone numbers, no location, no contacts, and we never track you around the web. The only personal details we hold are what sign-in shares (your email address and first name) plus the workouts you do in the app. Marketing email is strictly opt-in.

What we collect

  • Account identity. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name (if shared), email address and an authentication identifier, processed via Google Firebase Authentication. With Apple you may hide your email.
  • Workout data. Sessions you start and complete, timers you run, pause/skip counts, completion percentages, streaks and derived statistics, plus custom workouts you build. Stored in our database (Supabase, hosted in Sydney, Australia) and cached on your device.
  • Preferences. Fitness level, reminder settings, sound/voice choices and similar app settings, stored on your device and (where relevant) with your profile.
  • Subscription status. If you purchase T2T Pro, our subscription processor RevenueCat receives purchase receipts from Apple/Google and tells us whether your subscription is active. We never see your payment card details.
  • Crash and diagnostic data. Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports and basic device information so we can fix bugs.
  • Advertising (free tier only). The free tier shows ads via Google AdMob, only during rest phases and after workouts. Before any ads load we ask for your consent (GDPR) and, on iOS, App Tracking Transparency permission. If you decline, ads are non-personalised. T2T Pro removes ads entirely.

What we do not collect

  • No precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
  • No health-platform data (Apple Health / Google Fit) in the current version.
  • No sale of your personal data to anyone, ever.

How we use your data

To run the app: sign you in, sync your workouts and stats across devices, remember your streak, deliver your subscription, send the daily reminder you opted into, fix crashes, and (free tier) show consent-based ads. If you opt in to our monthly fitness newsletter in the app's Profile screen, we use your email address to send it. You can opt out any time in the app or via the unsubscribe link in every email. We do not use your data for anything else.

Where your data lives

Workout data is stored with Supabase (AWS Sydney, ap-southeast-2). Authentication is handled by Google Firebase. Subscription state is processed by RevenueCat. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms as our processor.

Offline use

Workouts run fully offline. Data created offline syncs to your profile when you're back online.

Deleting your data

Open Profile → Delete account in the app. This permanently erases your profile, workout history, statistics and subscription record from our systems, and removes your login. This is immediate and irreversible. (An active store subscription must be cancelled separately in your Apple/Google account settings; stores do not let apps cancel it for you.)

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act, the GDPR (EU/UK users) and similar laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw ad-consent at any time in the app's settings. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

T2T is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We'll post any changes to this policy here and update the effective date. Material changes will be flagged in the app.

Account & data deletion
